Who is the Group for? Families and carers of individuals struggling with an eating disorder and for parents who want to learn more about this topic.
The group is divided into four modules as follows:
1. What are disorders, early symptoms, co-occurring disorders
2. Causes and impacts on the individual and the family
3. Nutrition, health, and how families can help at home
4. Treatment options, resources and next steps
This is a highly specialized therapy program delivered by clinicians with substantial expertise in treating eating disorders.
Length: 4 weeks – 90 minutes per group
Dates/Times: Tuesdays 7:00pm-8:30pm
Start Date: May 14th to June 4th, 2019
Cost: $400 per person (spaces are limited)
