Job Posting: Adolescent Clinician

Registered Mental Health Practitioner – Adolescent Clinician

Location: Penetanguishene, Ontario – Hybrid with Option for In-Person Work
Clinic: The Centre for Psychology and Emotion Regulation

Join Us in Supporting Adolescent Mental Health Care

The Centre for Psychology & Emotion Regulation is expanding our adolescent services, and we are seeking a practitioner with specialization in ADHD, autism, and neurodiversity-affirming practice, and/or with experience supporting adolescents with eating disorders.

We are passionate about delivering developmentally attuned treatment to children and teens navigating complex and intersecting challenges.
We are one of the only clinics in the world delivering MED-DBT (Multi-diagnostic Eating Disorder–Dialectical Behavior Therapy), a comprehensive approach designed for clients who haven’t found success in standard treatments. We are bringing this same level of innovation and compassion to our adolescent track.

Our adolescent clients are bright, sensitive, and often struggling to find care that truly fits. They deserve clinicians who understand the complexities of neurodivergence, developing identity, emotion dysregulation, and eating disorder presentations in youth.

Why This Role Is Different

At our clinic, you will:

  • Deliver evidence-based treatments (e.g, CBT)  that are neurodiversity-affirming for adolescents and their families.

  • Work with youth experiencing ADHD, autism, ARFID, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, self-injury, trauma, school avoidance, and emotion dysregulation.

  • Receive ongoing support through our weekly team meetings designed to help clinicians stay grounded, sharp, and connected.

  • Access advanced training and mentorship in MED-DBT, adolescent ED treatment, FBT-informed approaches, neurodiversity-affirming work, and trauma modalities.

  • Join a clinic committed to innovation, community care, and shaping the future of DBT + ED treatment in Canada and beyond.
